My sister-in-law was upgraded at the George V with a suite and balcony of the best views in paris. However, other hotels can be just as comfortable, like the Clos Medicis for around 180 or the new Boutique 9 for those travellers who can't quite make the 400+ euros, Yes, I totally agree if you can spend that little bit extra you’re rewarded tenfold in service and quality surroundings.
